Old Florida II

At Gore's Landing, near Fort McCoy. Picture, if you can, Seminole Indians in a canoe gliding silently up the river, an alligator lying perfectly still on the bank, a heron fishing with stilted patience in the shallows...the only sound coming from an occasional bird high in the trees...

I could imagine the canoe there...Almost a beautiful dream...the peaceful scenery, some birds, the sun...But wait...I don't want alligators in my "dream picture"please!!!!;)
