Let me guess, they pump the gas, check the oil, and clean the windshield. Ah, those were the days.

This is the cutest gas station I've ever seen. A jewel...in a shell

Very retro---There is a place in Snohomish where every building on the place has old gas station equipment nailed on the sides. Eye catching. MB

I'm beginning to think they really were the good old days. Do you think that's a consequence of the onset of old age? Love this, it's kind of Route 66ish!

This place is fashion, reminds my collages, LOL because I like to decorate it with so many special details and of course Vintage stuffs!
Cool, really wonderful!

Ya know, in all the photos you show us from Florida, everything is always so clean & tidy - no junk laying around - except for a few run down places you've featured, but still most are picked up & clean. It isn't like that here, but the city does keep an eye on yards needing mowed. The laws must be more strict down there than here.

What a great catch! And the old wood wall is the perfect background.

Hi Jacob,

This really was in the good old days. Nowadays it's impossible to get any service at the so-called 'service'stations-:) I'm not sure they even know what a car is-:)

I love the pump. It's amazing. I wonder if it works.....

Have a wonderful weekend!

Best regards
Asta

@ Leia - This doesn't hold a candle to your collages, Leia! Nothing can beat them!

@ B Squared - Right on. You just forgot one thing: gas was 32 cents a gallon!

Nostalgia abounds as evidenced by all the comments. I am surprised that some of those vintage signs are still on the building. And the pump too.
