Lois Anne ran the Disney Marathon a few years ago. We had to be at the Epcot parking lot by 4:00 a.m. But the race didn't start for several more hours. It was very cold. These are some of the registrants standing (and sitting) around trying to keep warm.
Very nice night shot. Is it a real marathon, as in Olympic distance?
ReplyDeleteHi CQ - You betcha! Lois Anne has been running for years and has done two marathons - the Disney and the New York City marathon: a full 26.2 miles!
ReplyDeleteShe's also run a number of half-marathons.
She's not racing now, but runs four or five miles every other day.
She's done well - has over 50 trophies, medal, plaques, etc.
