  1. Wuhoo! Such clarity. Such beauty.

You have captured the reflections of the lights so very beautifully. That water is breathless!

Tell me you used a tripod ... please tell me just that!!

  5. Lovely sunset and a most interesting and beautiful silhouette! I like the twinkling lights (and their reflection) on the building too.

  6. @ Julie - ah...no...not usually. Not on this shot...sometimes if it's real dark and I've nothing to stabilize the camera on, like a tree...but I use a Nikon D300 and it's pretty darn good in low light.

I have nothing against tripods, except they're bulky to haul around - and we're often on bicycles...

  8. Beautiful golden colors. This is a really very nice sunset shot.

In answer to your question on my blog about the North End, yes, the North End is the Italian section of Boston and reminds many people of Europe. I sometimes forget that not everyone knows Boston as well as I do. Sorry, I guess that's just part of the Boston and New England parochialism showing in me; maybe I shouldn't taint everyone in New England with parochialism, maybe it's only me:)

Pretty damn good job, me-boyo ... pretty good.

  10. @ Julie - The D300's have come down in price. I love mine!

Go to http://www.kenrockwell.com and read his take on it! You'll love his site! I guarantee!

Warm tints pouring towards grey drifting clouds are perfect captured.
