Water lilies

Our daughter tossed these in a pond behind her home in South Florida some time ago, and they thrived.

  3. @ Ciel - In Florida, anything you throw on the ground grows into a huge tree - in about 20 minutes!!! I think that's true of stuff you thrown into the water, too.

Well, I'm exaggerating. But not by much!

  6. I love the effect around the edge and how you captured the reflection. It's a great shot. Hey, I'm getting out - I'm going to Kentucky. Maybe I'll find some actual flowers to photograph instead of weeds. I can only hope.

Have a great rest of the weekend.

  8. Thank you, just going on a little vacation. I'll be back to sunny or should I say rainy Florida in a week or so.

    Have a great Sunday,

  9. @ Cindy...well, that's good. I mean, you would probably miss the swamps, mosquitos, incessant rain, hurricanes, hot muggy air, traffic nightmares... ;-)

You have a great Sunday, too!
