Cedar Key, with its relatively calm waters and numerous inlets and bays, offers a great opportunity for kayakers. You can rent them when you arrive or you can bring your own, like these folks.
Quite a common sight here as well. My friend just got a Prius through the Cash for Clunkers program and I was giving her a hard time about the wind lifting her up in the air or for that matter, tipping it on its side when she puts her two kayaks atop of it! I don't think this guy will have that problem. They do provide a lot of color.
I really like this shot. It would appear that the kayaks have actually weighed down the poor pickup. The suspension is in agony. The colors are outstanding.
