How do you protect this kind of a vehicle from becoming stolen? Not that it would happen in Cedar Key of course! But elsewhere... I reckon they have cost a dime or two.
@ Per - It seems that Cedar Key is often filled with motorcycles - some that must cost $75,000! But they leave them parked, often with helmets sitting on the seats and other paraphernalia hanging here and there.
Doesn't seem people bother them much.
In South Florida, you would want to chain them down and surround them with Doberman's!
I like the double red bikes. It reminds me of those I took at Bear's Mill. Also red but more of a wine red.
I suspect you are right and Cedar Key beckons...

There's a pretty penny invested in those machines. I'll bet they're having a blast.
ReplyDeleteno doubts Cedar Key is a fabulous place!I would love to be there too!
ReplyDeleteCute picture and I loved your words!

What a couple of beauties. And they're backed into their parking space. Is that a common practice?
ReplyDeleteYou and Lois Anne get around in style!! Wow - you two have 6 blogs and I can barely get away with one with some family "background noise" ...
ReplyDeleteLove the bikes. I wonder if these folks are visitors over from the Villages and their other transport is via a $20,000 golf cart.
ReplyDeleteHow about twins?
ReplyDeleteMy husband would probably love it if I bought a "hers" version of his motorcycle, but I'm too scared to ride one.
ReplyDeleteSo very... red.

@ Lisa - Around this area, a goodly percentage of the riders are women. Some are my age, with grey/glue hair showing under their helmets!
ReplyDeleteI can't get Lois to go along with twin bikes, either.
@ Ceil - You're so funny...but, I guess that's possible!
ReplyDelete@ Frank - Could be. I know there's at least one Harley (or motorcycle) club in The Villages...
ReplyDelete@ Brattcat - Yes, we see that backing in quite often around here.

Cute! Good idea for the UP to pick rapsberries and strawberries. You and L.A would look good on these bikes. Have a good day!

ReplyDeleteNiiiiice. I used to ride with Al (I had to quit because of vertigo), but I have been trying to talk him into buying one of these. Love the red!
