House for rent

A nice little house for rent, right on the water! If you're looking for a great vacation spot, this is it!

  1. Is the house on stilts like that so an ocean surge will go under instead of through the house? It is a nice looking house.

  2. Hi Clueless - Yes. All new construction must be built up like that...in fact, that's true along most of the Florida coast, I believe.

Doesn't mean it can't get washed away anyway, though!

Looks like we've got a couple coming! Yikes!

  3. Nice! And it comes with built-in shade, which might be a good idea! I like this place!

  4. How much per month? Batten down the hatches, Jacob. Hope these storms don't live up to predictions.

  10. Now we're talking. I wouldn't mind hanging around here for a while. An opinion subject to change with the winds, I suppose...

  11. Nice place! Although this one looks pretty high in the air and the foundation posts look pretty substantial, there are some there even higher...which look pretty strange. I do like the thickness of these posts a lot. Even when the water is coming in the windows at least the house will be standing after the floods recede.

  12. I really like the color of the house but I'm afraid of the high tide ...
Great picture - there is also a pelican! -
