  1. Nice landscape, errr waterscape. The eye is drawn right thru those rocks.

  2. That's a beautiful capture, I like the "strange" colours of the rocks.
    God bless you!

  3. What's with the ramshackle thing perched out there in the water? Not hurricane ready for sure!

  4. @ Virginia - that old ramshackle thing is the "result" of a hurricane...I'm not sure what is was originally - some kind of boat shack or fishing pier tied to the land by a dock...

Today, it's a Cedar Key icon...except another major hurricane will probably send what's left to the bottom.

  5. What a beautiful light you've captured here. It warms the rocks, the pier, even the water. Great photo.

  6. I would definitely be ''sittin'on the dock of the bay'' and listen to Otis Redding! :-) Wonderful photograph!

  7. I sure hope that Claudette was kind enough to spare this icon. Hope you and yours did not suffer any damages.

  8. Hi Antjas - So far as I know, Claudette hasn't hit land yet...and the brunt of the storm will be far to the west in the Panhandle area...

We might see some of the outer bands and some rain - perhaps tonight or tomorrow, but don't expect any strong winds here, nor, I believe in Cedar Key.

We're more worried about Bill which is heading this way and picking up strength.
