Christmas in June?

This photo was taken last June...it appears the proprietors were getting a jump on the season.

  1. Good! So I'm not the only one. This drives me nuts. There's even a guy here locally that takes photos of peoples houses and trailers (surprise) with those icicle lights still there in the middle of summer. Now that's some exterior decorating for ya!

Okay, I'm done now. I'm calm.

  2. My son moved to Florida some thirty years ago and said the hardest thing to get used to in Florida was Christmas. It didn't seem like Christmas to him then and I guess it still doesn't. This is a pretty place you have photographed.

Yes, my wife told me it was against the law to drive and take photos but I told her I was looking through the viewfinder at where we were going and had one hand on the steering wheel.

  3. Maybe the jolly old feller lives there in the summertime. You know it's awfully cold where he lives in the winter. Brrr. MB

  4. I don't think it's ever too early for sparkly lights.

  5. I guess so! There's a house in my neighborhood that never takes their lights down and it's really kind of annoying.

  6. It looks like a very warm and welcoming shop. It sure beats homeowners who never take their lights and decorations down. That's a bit much.

  8. Never taking them down and never having to put them up again. Saves a lot of effort. A bit boring though.

  11. Goodness. And I thought our shops were early when they started decorating, bringing out Christmas products and playing Christmas carols on September 1!

  13. I LOVE it! When Lorelei's mom was still at home, she kept a string of the little white lights run around the ceiling of her room and I always liked it.
