Vista View Park - Davie, Florida


Vista View Park was created on an old landfill in Davie, Florida. It now consists of beautiful sites for picknicking, biking, jogging, rollerblading and just having fun. This photo was taken at the top looking out over the cities of Davie and Fort Lauderdale. Off in the distance on the left, you can barely see downtown Fort Lauderdale.

    This is quite a 'vista'! (Also the portuguese word for view/scenery)

    @ Brattcat...the hill is higher than in looks from here. Lois used to run in this park weekly. It was pretty rugged.

    You wouldn't want to walk up here in the summertime! Too hot!

    Gorgeous view. It reminded me of that scene in Poltergeist where Craig T. Nelson is out with his boss and learns their community was built over a graveyard.

    Really pretty view and I love the blue sky and the puffy white clouds. Looks like a great day to be out.
