A tree changes colors

It ain't Vermont, but we do get a bit of color on some trees in north central Florida as winter approaches!

  1. It's beautiful, Jacob. How I wish I could turn back the clock and have Vermont look like this in December. Unfortunately the clock hands are frozen at the moment and I am, too. Lucky for you to have this sample of autumnal beauty and not freeze your tootsies off.

  3. A little bit of snow maybe? :-) Beautiful colours, this one still has to grow a bit, you'll have to show it again when it's an adult! ;-)

  6. Hi Jacob. It's beautiful. That's a nice scene with the other trees in the background. Makes all the colors stand out. It doesn't look like a Maple tree. Maybe it's a Tallow Tree. Well, whatever it is it's nice to see here in Florida.

    Have a great weekend,
    Cindy

  7. Really nice shades on the same tree! That read leaf is the cherry on top of the cake.

  8. @ Asta - Snow? Heh, heh. I suppose it could happen as we do get temps in the 30s (F) at night on rare occasions. Right now, though, it is 70 degrees and a bit cloudy.

I've never heard of snow in Ocala, however.
