That is a garish red. I don't much like bright colors like these but then that is Florida and not Ohio. I don't like pink and teal either. It sure makes the windows "pop" doesn't it.
I agree with Dianne, the porches are really impressive. I didn't think Florida went in much for second stories. But this place has a wonderful top floor.

ReplyDeletepretty
ReplyDeletelooks like there's a wonderful deck in back and a pretty porch in front
Looks like a nice house but I think I'd have a different red. Something that didn't stand out so much. I like the tree on the side, looks really old.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Cindy
Nice! I like that yellow trim too.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed that on the front of this house, the railings and "gingerbread type" trim are sillouettes of CATS??
ReplyDeleteQuite striking!
ReplyDelete@ Lisa - No, I missed that. Probably because of the bright red shutters with yellow trim. I'll check the next time we're in Cedar Key! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSurely an eye catcher! Glad to hear you're moved in - Now, for the settling part of moving in! Hope all is well

ReplyDeleteVery nice. Beautiful color combinations.
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast... a bit too much for my taste...
ReplyDeleteI like the touch of yellow.
ReplyDeleteI like shutters on houses---but on the right house. The yellow sure makes the red stand out. Very nice. MB
