Jacob, thanks for your comments on my blog. It's interesting that you say that you thought that the features in the park might have been some sort of floating mine because that was my initial thought too. Then I considered that they might be something else related to the shipping that took place in the area. It's only when Julie suggested that they might have been rum vats that I investigated further and found out that they actually were caneite vats. Cheers. Sydney - City and Suburbs
Where are all the kids? Actually, it's good to see that the older kids aren't hooking school.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought the dads would at least be out there challenging the kids.
ReplyDeleteAwfully quiet for a playground. Where have all the children gone? MB
ReplyDeleteNo one's there?! Was it siesta time? :)
ReplyDeleteIn such a beautiful sunny day I'm really surprise not see some kids and mommys there!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
Léia
Lois Anne?
ReplyDeleteI like her photo and the children's play area beyond.
@ Small City - Ah...this was taken on a very hot day...the children were probably still in bed...certainly in where things were air conditioned!
ReplyDelete@ Don and Krise - The dads were fishing with the kids (or the kids were sleeping)... :-)
ReplyDeleteNice and colorful! I don't blame the kids for not being out in the heat.
ReplyDeleteIs this your empty day? ;-)
