We had a palm in our yard that took a hit during the last cold snap. The one in your photo looks better than mine.
So glad to hear they were healthy enough to begin with. Perhaps a more stressed tree would not have made it back.

They are so big - here we can grow them only as pot plants, which obviously is complicated in winter unless on has really big place:)

It's happening the same here. I've never seen palm trees, cacti and other succulents (Yuccas, Agaves, Aloes, etc.) so damaged as in this past winter!
I am not a great fan of palm trees...maybe because I have not been around them much. But there is something either about this one or the way you took the photo that I really like.

the poor fronds, someone should climb up there & cut the dead ones off so that the nutrients will travel to the greener parts of the tree!
