A boat bench at the Seabreeze

We first started going to Cedar Key in December or 1988. This bench was there then. It's looking a little bedraggled now. The Seabreeze restaurant was there in 1988, too, and while some changes have been made, it is still a nice place to eat (on the 2nd floor) looking out over the water.

  1. Lots of atmosphere in that boat bench, although it looks a little splintery. I think I'd have to be on at least my third spirit to risk it.

  2. Oh I love this one. I'll probably say the same thing when I see it popping up on the bunch of benches!

  3. This bench is beautiful, I like it a lot!I imagine the food there is delicious, because they are doing business since 1988, it means they are doing a great job!

  5. I would be afraid I would get a few splinters in a delicate area if I sat on that! Love the reflections.

  7. Talk about repurpose, reuse, and recycle. I love the boat bench. Personally, I prefer the well-used weathered look.

  10. That is a neat seat in the boat. About the last place anybody would expect to find a bench. LOL

I have walked by this bench dozens of times, and have never even noticed it. How funny! It's very cool. Though weathered, it has still held up pretty nicely.
