We first started going to Cedar Key in December or 1988. This bench was there then. It's looking a little bedraggled now. The Seabreeze restaurant was there in 1988, too, and while some changes have been made, it is still a nice place to eat (on the 2nd floor) looking out over the water.
Lots of atmosphere in that boat bench, although it looks a little splintery. I think I'd have to be on at least my third spirit to risk it.

Oh I love this one. I'll probably say the same thing when I see it popping up on the bunch of benches!
ReplyDeleteThis bench is beautiful, I like it a lot!I imagine the food there is delicious, because they are doing business since 1988, it means they are doing a great job!

Love this bench, particularly the bedraggledness of it.
ReplyDeleteI would be afraid I would get a few splinters in a delicate area if I sat on that! Love the reflections.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! I just love this bench/boat! Super cool!
ReplyDeleteTalk about repurpose, reuse, and recycle. I love the boat bench. Personally, I prefer the well-used weathered look.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it has been well used.
ReplyDeleteEven bedraggled, it's a charming bench! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat seat in the boat. About the last place anybody would expect to find a bench. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bench. VP will have his plate full soon if it's not already.
ReplyDeleteWish we we're there!
ReplyDeleteI like this boat bench.
ReplyDeleteI have walked by this bench dozens of times, and have never even noticed it. How funny! It's very cool. Though weathered, it has still held up pretty nicely.
