    Is that for real? Whenever I go to Florida I look for these darn things, but have never seen one outside of a zoo.

    Do you take this shot at the zoo, Jacob? Just had to ask.

    It's beautiful gator Jacob! Maybe not very friendly creature but looks great:)
    Re your comment - the photo was taken last September in Rathlin Island. It's a small island in the Northen Ireland, one of the most amazing places I know! Can you imagine - only 70 people live there, and the wildlife (includind seals and puffins) is terrific!

    He looks ready to spring on hie prey. An American alligator was found in Australia a couple of years ago wandering around a camp site in NSW. They never did find out how he came to be here though. Nobody came forward to claim it either.
