These first photos show the bridge over Cross Creek and the area around the very small town of Cross Creek. This is where The Yearling restaurant is located and is a couple of miles from Rawling's home.
The last two photos were taken on Rawling's property.
Wow what a beautiful and colorful selection. I love the two last one a lot!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful installment in the Rawlings series. What are Southern Stamps?
ReplyDeleteI sure do remember green stamps. And miss them. I'm still using clothes hampers "purchased" with green stamps many, many years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt's superb series Jacob, so interesting!
ReplyDeleteAll bright and colourful at this town of Cross Creek. The photo of the ramp/walkway over the water is amazing. Great perspective.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness---thank you so much for this wonderful series.
ReplyDeleteI must go back to the library. MB
