"They" say a good foundation is the most important thing - in all areas of life. You remember those little pep talks: "Study hard now so you can build a good foundation for later in life."
Well, there's more to it. Sometimes, a storm or a wrecking ball shows up to make our life a mess. All we have left is the foundation.
Which means the pundits were both right and wrong: A good foundation doesn't mean you won't get blown away; but it also gives you a place to start anew.
How philosophical you are today.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot. I tried to imagine what it might have looked like, but then I realized the beauty of starting over; you can make it what you want.
Between you and bfarr, that's a lot of food for thought!
ReplyDeleteHow wise you are.
ReplyDeleteIs this the wisdom of the ages or should I say the aged. MB
But now we have to think outside the box about the definition of a 'good foundation.'
ReplyDeleteGreat find and great commentary.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo as your springboard to wisdom, Jacob.
ReplyDeleteA solid foundation.......... a good place to start and end!
ReplyDeleteAre you launching a philosophy Saturday series? I believe you are right in your conclusion though.
ReplyDeleteIt's pure philosophy my friend, I agree!
ReplyDeleteIt's also a beautiful idea, something to think about.I can say it's the same about our soul, what I did until now to be better, I mean a better human being?
Question...many question...it's wonderful!
