Always Something is a very nice little shop "In the Heart of the Historic District" in Dunnellon, Florida. Here you can find antiques, gifts, collectibles and "previously loved furniture."
The shop is owned by Bonnie Lewison, who runs a local newspaper, but is operated on a day-to-day basis by her mother, Nell Rhodes, pictured above.
Nell is a most interesting person and she loves to engage people in conversation. Stop by Always Something if you ever find yourself in Dunnellon.
A superb portrait of Nell!
ReplyDeleteWelcame to Always Something! what a great name for a shop!
ReplyDeleteWonderful portrait and what a lovely idea to tell people that they'll get a smile even if they don't buy anything!
ReplyDeleteThe place is lovely, actually it's a place where I could spend hours and fortune:)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that nice chat with Mrs Nell Rhodes would add charm to the visit!
Have a lovely day!
J'adore les couleurs ! Beautiful post !
ReplyDeleteI like smiles. I'll take a bushel basket full of them. MB
ReplyDeleteHello !
ReplyDeleteNo, I just took the photo at the fair.
I do not have room at home for a rooster and hens !
Wonderful place to shop for great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to decide between the smiles and the memories... I guess I'll take the smiles for now.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar

And the owner seems really interesting...thanks for sharing!
That is a cute name for a shop! I would go in there just to meet Nell.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting little shop...someplace I would stop. Nice portrait of Miss Nell too.
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait!
ReplyDeleteThe facts of life - joy and grief - implies wrinkles of life.
Nell looks like a storyteller - and her makeup matches the clothes so nicely ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
Cool name, cool place and cool shots too.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a colorful character, a nice lady! I like the fisheye shot, too! Neato! =)
