Happy Harry's, on the waterfront in St. Augustine, is a nice place to kick back and enjoy good food and a drink.

An owl to scare away pigeons and gulls

On the fence surrounding the Waterfront Inn's swimming pool sits a majestic owl. It is supposed to scare away pigeons and gulls so they don't poop in the pool. Unfortunately, fake owls don't scare away pigeons and gulls. A vice principal tried this at a school where I taught. The pigeons sat on the owl's head!
