Do not drive past this point

The sign warns not to drive beyond that point...as if you could! That's Dave from Wisconsin, strolling down the beach, enjoying a nice sunny day.

  2. LOL! Driving on beaches isn't allowed here so I'm always surprised. Dave looks happy! Is it dangerous to swim there? I'm only asking because that's the kind of sea I like to swim in.

  4. @ Cieldequimper - No, it is not usually dangerous to swim here; sometimes, though, you have jellyfish which can sting, or sharks (often sharks!) and then the rip currents.

So, you need to be a little careful.

  5. @ Juergen - I think that the last hurricane season did some damage to the beach. Before that, at low tide, one could drive along in the sand without sinking or getting stuck. Now, I'm not so sure. I wouldn't try it.

I'm been stuck in the sand before - in Texas!
