The Emerald Coast, located in Florida's Panhandle, has some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the state. This shot was taken from a pier in Destin, Florida on a warm and sunny afternoon.
@ Ciel - It's fairly high but not excessively so...I think the angle of the photograph distorts the reality a bit. I would guess we were 20-25 feet above the water at that point...
Wow - you captured the sea in all nuances of emerald green, Jacob. And the cumulus are gorgeous. Panhandle must be a great region for those seeking tranquility.
Absolutely amazing sky & that water is screaming for me to dive in! (I do tend to be a lil dramatic about "some" screaming things) LoL!
ReplyDeletepicture postcard perfect yet again. you take some exquisite photos. and you are clever with the words ducky!
ReplyDeleteHow high is that pier?? Fantastic shot, absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe sea colour makes justice to the name. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis greenish ocean and white sand are sooooo beautiful. Feels like taking some days off...

The color of the water is so inviting. Very beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot. I love that water.
ReplyDeleteEmerald green, indeed. I don't remember seeing those nuances in my bathtub. Gotta go back and check again.
ReplyDelete@ Per Stromsjo - Here's how to get a green-water bathtub: Don't clean it for several weeks. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat has nothing to do with the emerald waters of the Emerald Coast, of course.
Oh my! That's so beautiful it should be a postcard or some sort of advertisement!
ReplyDeleteIncredible color!
