Kinda neat, huh. Tillandsia belonging to the Bromeliad family. Used to be popular out here. Always sell a lot at the yearly Flower and Garden Show. MB
Beautiful shot, Jacob. And given your temperatures this is one air plant that is not 'full of HOT air'. It's true, I am going to be rather busy during this brief visit to Florida. It would be so good to meet you. Perhaps next time.
I had never seen one of these, at least not like that. Do they hang in the air?
I like this...
@ Ciel - They appear to be growing on the tree, attached somehow...most are kind of a gray-green color. This was something I hadn't seen before.
At first I thought they were fireworks! Beautiful:)
Is truly spectacular!
@ Small City Scenes - How come you're so darn smart, Mary Beth? Thanks for the info.
hello... hapi blogging... have a nice day! just visiting here....
Great! You know I love air plants!
Beautiful! We have about 9 0r 10 growing in the park near my home. I don't think they are this gorgeous though. I love the red.
This is one nice photo of the air plant. Sharpness and detail is amazing. Anna :)
