Air plants - St. Augustine, Florida

  1. Kinda neat, huh. Tillandsia belonging to the Bromeliad family. Used to be popular out here. Always sell a lot at the yearly Flower and Garden Show. MB

  2. Beautiful shot, Jacob. And given your temperatures this is one air plant that is not 'full of HOT air'. It's true, I am going to be rather busy during this brief visit to Florida. It would be so good to meet you. Perhaps next time.

  4. @ Ciel - They appear to be growing on the tree, attached somehow...most are kind of a gray-green color. This was something I hadn't seen before.

  9. Beautiful! We have about 9 0r 10 growing in the park near my home. I don't think they are this gorgeous though. I love the red.
