B&W conversion is so difficult when you have to sacrifice an interesting color such as the cottage. I think this one succeeds because of the timeless feel that brattcat mentioned. Either way, it's a great shot. I'd love to spend the morning in that chair!

Great shot Lois Anne, I like both versions,I can imagine a ladder and at the end an oases with a chair to relax and enjoy the view!
