Hollywood Beach, Hollywood, Florida

  1. Is this a recent shot?

Love it, but I wish the 'open' sign wasn't there. It kind of spoils the beauty of the rest.

  2. I don't know more what is a sunny day! :(
Thanks so much for this beautiful composition with the lovely blue in the background and I like so much the word *open*, something very positive, and the motion in these flags, wonderful indeed!

  8. Ohh, the beach golf house ...or just a house, where you can buy used golf balls very cheap :-D

  9. Nice beach shot, Where on Hollywood Beach is this? I have not seen this anywhere near the broadwalk. Is this on the North Beach area?

  10. There's a warm feeling in this photo. I have just came from the beach and, though it's a beautiful sunshine, it's the opposite! A cold wave from Iceland is hitting us and the temperature this morning was 4ºC!

  11. Some funny comments! Thank you all. No, it's not an outhouse or a beach golf house!

To Florida Beach Hotels and all: This is an old photo which I scanned. Probably 20 years old. As I recall, this "shack" was located south of the Florida Beach Hotel (Hollywood Blvd)and sold soft drinks and candy, etc.

I doubt it is still there. In fact, I don't think it lasted long at all. Probably too susceptible to hurricanes!

I must stay for a while at at sunny and pretty warm side. So your photographs brings me joy into the heavy winter in Germany.
