The Rolling Hills Country Club - Davie, Florida

You may remember the Rolling Hills Country Club. It was the site of the movie, "Caddyshack," starring Chevy Chase, among others. I've played golf there many times. Great golf course! I've attended meetings there on numerous occasions. We've been to several weddings there, and on one occasion I was the official (i.e., paid) photographer. Our youngest daughter was married there! I took a few photos then, too.

Ernest Hemmingway's home/museum in Key West

Hemmingway, who came to Key West in the 1920s, is said to have owned this home from 1931 to his death in 1961. It was in Key West he completed his novel, "A Farewell to Arms," published in 1929. But he actually lived in this house just 10 years. Hemmingway was noted for the number of cats that took up residence in the house. Today, about 60 cats still live there, some of them said to be descendants of the original cat.
