Inside the Oaks Mall in Gainesville, Florida, there is an area dedicated as a play area for children.  It gives parents a chance to rest while the kids burn off excess energy.  It is a very noisy area of the mall!

The Goblin Market - Mt. Dora

The Goblin Market in Mt. Dora, Florida is an enchanting restaurant.  It's located on the 2nd floor of what appears to be an old house, so has lots of charming nooks and crannies into which are placed tables and chairs.  We enjoyed a meal at this restaurant a few years ago.  But on the day this photo was taken, the place was closed, despite what the sign proclaims.  We were disappointed but will go back and try again one of these days.

Growing in a swamp

There is a message here, perhaps.  This plant is in the midst of a swamp.  But that did not stop it.  It continues to grow.  Maybe we can do the same when swamped with work or various problems.  Hey, it's worth a try.  I mean, if a lowly plant can do it...
