The magenta gives it an unreal, but nice atmosphere. Occasionaly the built-in software in cameras creates slightly different colors than we actually observe with the eye. But I don't think that's a problem unless in those cases where you want the image to be as close a reproduction of the actual scene as possible. On the other hand, maybe the sky really looks like this where you are...
In this night photo of the dock area, shot from the bay/marina side, the colors show much more magenta than the previous night shot we put up.
