Oh I like this effect. Is this something from Photoshop? Pretty cool. Yes I just got a ticket in what I call a 'sting' operation. I am going to contest it. we will see what happens. MB
Uh, oh. Sounds like somebody was in too much of a hurry to get to the next shot. I don't suppose you explained to the ticketing officer about your commitments to CDPB.
@ Brattcat - No ... he was a nasty cuss. I did explain I hadn't had a ticket in 50 years. He sneered and said, obnoxiously, "Well, I'm sorry to be the one to have to give it to you."
@ MB - The effect is a Photoshop "Action," which is a set of prefixed steps using various Photoshop filters, etc.
Good luck with your ticket. I got a lawyer and ended up paying a couple hundred dollars, but nothing on my driving record...which was better than nothing, I guess.
@ Ciel - Altamonte Springs is speed-trap city! It happened on a road which was posted at 35 mph but where everyone drives 45...I was going 35 but sped up to get in another lane as I was going to turn left...the cop stepped out from behind some bushes and aimed his radar gun at me and that was that!
Ah, we seem to have the same problem over here... I only ever got one ticket for speeding, I was 3 miles over the limit AND I was going downhill... Now that I understand better, now that I actually know there are "radar guns", I can say that I like the treatment of the photo. ;-) and that I love to drive in America, you're making me dream of American roads again.
I love that! How cool! We have a couple of speed traps here, too. I admit I've been pulled over a couple of times and used my husband as an excuse to get out of it since he's a cop. ;)

Another way to generate some income. I like the effect you used on the shot.
