It seems some folks out there in photo blogging land were not too enthusiastic about my Triqui paint effect (posted yesterday) and suggested they would like to see the original.
Their wish is my command. This is the original. No paint effect.
So whaddaya like best, my friends? :-))
Oh, yeah, click to embiggen.

I am so relieved that you aren't offended. I love this one and actually, believe it or not, now I can really appreciate the triqui version. I would love to follow this and enjoy the subtle trickling sounds of the water. Off to work, I'm laaaaaaate!
You did this on purpose! Great small creek (natural or man made?) image, ditch that Triqui thing...
It's beautiful.
I like the original by far!
Each one is unique in it's own way. Nature is beautiful without being touched up---well sometimes. MB
@ VP - You're so silly! This is The Villages. The creek is "man-made"!
Have a fun afternoon and evening. I've been losing the Internet intermittently for hours at a time so if I disappear that's the reason!
Also magnificent Jacob, both are beautiful!

The ferns alonside this creek are very pretty, Jacob. Although I LOVE making "art" from some of my photos, I must admit that in THIS case I prefer the original.
Original or not it's really pretty!
Great weekend for you:)
I like em both, but I'd probably choose the original as a fav, but only cuz I can see the stream more clearly
I really like this - is rich in detail - but also the other for the colors and the overall effect!
Is nice to see them both, and also poer choose ...
:-)
I didn't see the Triqui-only yesterday. I'm with Ciel, I think I appreciate it more having seen the real one. When I go to a location blog, I want to see the location, but the Triqui version is really nice as a piece of mostly-abstract art.
I like both versions. So much green!
I was quite worried that this was really natural creek!
@ VP - Okay, this comment did make me laugh out loud! Verrrrry funneee! I'll be chuckling all day!
I like the original!
