they both look awesome, Jacob - I love love love b&w photos - but is that birds on those boats? if so, they're really big
It looks good in both versions, but the b+w seems a little more artistic and kind of timeless.
Both are beautiful but I prefer black and white option. Those cormorants (they are cormorants, aren't they?) are fabulous:)Fog is so picturesque!
The second one for sure! :)I think it was a silent morning as well...Léia
Picture postcard perfect---the one with a touch of color. Look at all the birds. The must be deciding who's going to row. Super super shot.B&W ok too. MB
Water and sky are seamless in the fog. I see the patches of color as essential to keep alive this wonderful image.
I like the first because of the spots of color from the boats. Which, I notice, those funny birds really love. I love fog, maybe because we rarely get them. Keep them coming, Jacob. Your images are beautiful!
@ Tricia - The birds are anhingas...pretty good size. I'll probably post a close-up or two of them tomorrow...Have a great day!
These are the best and most unusual scenes you've ever captured of The Villages. I would never guess this is a little lake in the middle of Florida.
Thank you all...Frank, you just made my day!
Oh I've never heard of that kind of bird, but I think they're trying to hitch a ride on a boat going... nowhere! Poor lil guys
The birds must be commuting to work, or something... Beautiful pictures, both of them.
En couleur, please! This looks so much like what I'm used to in Brittany (and in WA!)
Definitely colour for me! :-) So very beautiful! And the birds in a row are the cherry on top of the cake!
Oh my goodness, one of the best photos ever. I want to see the close-ups...so I will be waiting!
