It's beautiful gator Jacob! Maybe not very friendly creature but looks great:) Re your comment - the photo was taken last September in Rathlin Island. It's a small island in the Northen Ireland, one of the most amazing places I know! Can you imagine - only 70 people live there, and the wildlife (includind seals and puffins) is terrific! Have a great day:)
Oh gosh, you are so close to this gator, it's dangerous! Glad that he didn't look and smile for your camera! :) Beautiful picture! *** thanks so much for your kind message. We got it today during our breakfast.I'm feeling much better of that pain in my back today, thanks for your good wishes! Léia
He looks ready to spring on hie prey. An American alligator was found in Australia a couple of years ago wandering around a camp site in NSW. They never did find out how he came to be here though. Nobody came forward to claim it either.
Jacob, I think this is one of my favorite photos of yours I've seen so far. I embiggened it as far as it would go, and the colors and reflections and composition are really wonderful.

Is that for real? Whenever I go to Florida I look for these darn things, but have never seen one outside of a zoo.
Do you take this shot at the zoo, Jacob? Just had to ask.
You couldn't get him to turn around and smile for you? :)
Now there's a cuddly fellow! How fast are these beasts? Could you outrun them, if necessary?
Ah... This is another real-looking mockup of a gator... I'm almost fallen for it!
Have a nice day!
Hi buddy! :-)

Oh, that one looks most definitely real.
OH!!! Scary! Yikes!!! Cool capture, nice colors!
Is he really that small or is this shot deceiving? I'm still scared of him, no matter! =)
