The Twisted Oaks Country Club is a semi-public operation, named for the many twisted oak trees on the property. It is located to the west of Ocala and while I have yet to play the golf course, I have heard it is a decent test of one's golf skills - probably because of the oak trees and the changes in elevation.

It looks like it would be a pleasant place to play.
Interesting name and a pretty course. Around here everything is named "Canopy Oaks" because of the oak trees forming canopies over the roads with their moss covered branches. They are pretty, but challenging to drive at night and a little spooky sometimes!
Beautiful views. It looks a very pleasant place.
