Driftwood

For some reason, I like this photo. It was taken at John Lloyd Park in Dania, Florida.

yes, a nice photo with brilliant and shiny red wood contrasting with the beautiful ocean blue. And, in answer to your question, the camera and lens I used to take the macro shot of the blue hibiscus is a Sony DSC-H50 with a Zeiss lens. It is a great camera and has a 15X zoom, 9.1 megapixels, and, are you ready for this, night vision technology so I can take photos of animals in the complete darkness. It is fun to play with that feature. I took an amazing kiwi bird in New Zealand using that technique, along with lizards and other critters in nocturnal areas.

Thanks, Julie...you did such a great job with that photo, I was curious. Can't beat a Zeiss lens for sure. The night vision things is intriguing and I don't recall hearing about other cameras that might have it...I'll have to check that out...

You do wonderful work!
