They look amazingly patient and well-behaved!

Are we back in watercolor mode for this shot, Jacob? It's a great shot, with an almost collage effect. That very tan man framed by two pelicans, that tower of white cloud and that wild-bearded man with his hands in the bucket and the pelican groupies. Really great shot and treatment.

I was wondering about this scene...the pelicans look so peaceful and I think certainly I should be afraid of them!
These pelicans are very polite waiting for their snack! :-))
Great post Jacob!
Cool shot!

They are so cute. I also like the billowing clouds in the background and how the other guy's back is oily from sun tan oil.

Super shot. Why are they fed though?

Fantastic shot! Glad you were there!

@ Ciel - Because they are beggars and the fishermen give them trash fish at the end of the day...

Wow! What an amazing shot. They look like street beggars, those patient pelicans. I like the almost surreal feel to this photo. It would make a wonderful poster!

These are moments that make us want to be fishermen :)

Such beggars. And I bet they are pretty well fed. I hope he had enough for all of them.

To me the pelican is the iconic bird of Florida. They are such characters. Love this shot.
