On this particular morning, a storm had blown through. Sand had to be swept from the roadway and it was still wet and very windy. That didn't stop these runners competing in a 5K. Lois Anne is in the pack somewhere.
@ Cezar and Leia - Lois Anne has won or placed (in her age group) in over 50 races; she's run several half-marathons, the Disney Marathon and the New York City Marathon. She still holds the record for her age group in a 5K for the state of Florida.
Congratulations to Lois Anne. Wow. Such an accomplishment and commitment. Your photo is excellent also! Very nice and I can see you positioned yourself perfectly to capture it. Thanks for all of your comments on my site. I have enjoyed them very much. I am sorry I got a bit behind in responding because of work demands. I hope to see light at the end of my tunnel soon. I am preparing a night scapes series this week on my site. I was able to fit in a full moon photography class last Friday night so I tried this weekend to practice what I learned. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm kinda proud of her.
@ Ciel - Of course, as I recall she won first place in her age group.
