Searching for dinner


Unfortunately, I don't remember where I took this picture. I do recall this beautiful bird was diligently searching for something to eat.

I'm not sure what it is but it's fantastic anyway! Maybe half stork half ibis... :-)))

@ C'mon, Ciel! I was afraid you'd ask me that. And I was hoping you'd be able to tell me what that is. A big duck? A cross between an Egret and a stork? An Egret and a Heron. I think it's a great grey Heron.

But I really don't know what I'm talking about.

That's actually a wood stork and it's an endangered species! Oddly, in Florida, you usually spot them in roadside water retention areas!
