I always wonder about old run-down houses. I wonder who lived there and why they left. In fact I wrote a post about it on one of my blogs here: http://picsandpiecing.blogspot.com/2009/02/look-at-me.html
Call me crazy but I am looking for houses like this. It used to be one could see them along side the road in the South while on trips. I want one! Northwest Florida area. If it had water and electric at one time, its just sitting there and someone is paying property tax on it but doesnt want to fix it up to rent or sell, I want to talk to you.

so sad to see abandoned houses
Why is it that abandoned houses and barns sometimes are more photogenic than others? Love this. Have a great Sunday!
The vegetation is lush...a character itself. But those draperies hint that perhaps someone still lurks inside.
Abandoned? I wonder why that would be...
God bless you!

It could be such a beautiful house! Shame it's so neglected.
Best regards.
Looks like a lot of the abondoned homes in AL.
Love the lichens hanging on the tree!
The roof is good. Cute looking cottage.
