Enjoying the sun at Hollywood Beach

This shot was taken last November - the day after Thanksgiving - at Hollywood Beach in southern Florida. I was surprised there were so few people.

Honk, honk, ,honk, honk

These geese at Spanish Springs were quite upset that we didn't have any food for them and they let us know what they thought of us! "Honk, honk, honk honk!"

Cedar Key Museum

Singer at Sumter Landing

As I've said before, both hometowns (Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing) offer entertainment nightly in the town square. This young lady was the lead singer of a small group playing to a large crowd at Sumter Landing.

Lined up at Cedar Key Airport

The Cedar Key airport is actually one runway. Some of the people on Cedar Key own their own planes which gives them a great deal of mobility.

Johnny Rockets - Sumter Landing

Johnny Rockets, located across from the square in Sumter Landing, is designed as a 60s style diner. We have not eaten there, but it does look appealing.

At the flea market in Mount Dora

Florida is filled with flea markets. In Mount Dora, just off Highway 441, there is a very large flea market which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These two ladies were leisurely strolling through the market on a Sunday morning.

Outside display through glass

In this shot, you're looking through a window of a gift shop in the dock area to an outside display on a small deck. Usually, it's the other way around - you look through a window into a shop to see the displayed merchandise!
