This old engine is located off Highway 19 near Gulf Hammock, Florida. It is enclosed by a chain-link, barbed-wire fence. Must have some significance to someone.

Hwy 24 in Otter Creek


Highway 24 is the only way to get to Cedar Key, Florida via land. From the small town of Otter Creek, it is about 24 miles to the island. This shows Highway 24 as it leaves Otter Creek heading toward Cedar Key.

We've never stayed here, but it appears to be a nice place to stay in Cedar Key. It is located just west of the dock and adjacent to downtown.
