Shack on water

This old time-worn shack has become something of a Cedar Key identifying icon. It says "Cedar Key." I've even seen it painted on the side of a truck used in a Cedar Key business.

Wouldn't it just be wonderful to wake up there (except on storm days maybe!)

It looks like it should be called the Cedar Key Bird House. Great shot.

CQ - they've had a few fairly powerful hurricanes roar through there over the years...which usually means they have to rebuild stuff, or they leave it like this shack.

We're close enough that if Cedar Key gets a hurricane, we run for cover!

It looks fascinating somehow. The birds seem to love it.
