Micanopy post office handicapped parking

This motorized wheelchair was the only vehicle at the post office in Micanopy when I took this picture. An older woman drove up in the wheelchair, parked in the handicapped parking space, got out of the wheelchair and walked into the post office.

(Micanopy, you may recall is that small town just south of Gainesville noted internationally for its antique stores).

That's the first time in my whole life that I've seen a wheelchair parked on a car parking space!

I might be like that when I get older--my fibromyalgia is very bad sometimes--I can walk, physically, but the pain can be excruciating. Sometimes my husband pushes me in a wheelchair around the art museum.
