What a great color! You hardly see phone booths anymore.
Canadian????? English you mean!!! When they started replacing them in England, a lot of French people bought some. I have a friend whose parents have one at the bottom of their garden in the countryside of central France!
Well, sheesh! It was at the Canadian place...doesn't that make it Canadian "style"?They are pretty neat, right?Better check back tomorrow...
Are we in London? :-)Wonderful! I love this kind of "booth"!Léia
It is really beautiful and great!:-)
Isn't it funny that in a day and age where we don't need phone booths anymore, lots of places keep these? I bet there are at least 6 in Mt. Village here.
that's an old Genereal Post Offcie ( GPO) phone box from the UK.They were originally designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott as the result of a competition in 1924 to design a kiosk that would be acceptable to the London Metropolitan Boroughs
@ this too... Thanks for the info. I'll probably post another shot of booths from the UK Showcase tomorrow...
