Catamaran in Destin harbor

Destin, located on the Emerald Coast in the Panhandle, is noted for its white sand beaches and emerald waters, but it is also a heavenly place for boaters.

Cezar and Leia - Florida is paradise sometimes...sometimes not. All the problems the world faces are found here, too. And Destin harbor has been smashed by severe hurricanes on several occasions, although the citizens have rebuilt with determination...

We have found Ocala to be a nice place to live after being in south Florida for 20 years! Much slower-paced and much more friendly.

That's changing too, though, sad to say.
