It looks like a wet walk to your boat. Is that intentional? Or is the tide in? I just never thought about getting to your boat by taking a boat.

Such a serene, dreamy shot. I think I would find Cedar Key a place to be still and happy.

Abe and Brattcat - We are in Cedar Key now, celebrating our 52nd anniversary...just came in from our deck overlooking the Gulf after taking sunrise photos...

It is a great place to relax.

For the past several days, Abe, there have been several boats anchored just off shore...we watched a yachtsman and his wife take off in their portable dinghy last night to go back to their multi-million dollar yacht after coming into town for dinner!

"...Sailing takes me away to where i've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon i will be free

Fantasy, it gets the best of me
When i'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie, every word is a symphony
Won't you believe me?"...(Christopher Cross- Sailing)

I do love this song!
Your picture is wonderful!Congrats !

Fantastic capture. The blue color of the sky and water are in unison.

Thanks, Leia...I think I'm going to have to ask you for poetic interpretations before I do my posts! This one is sure fitting...

*Drooling* Happy anniversary to you both! My grandparents made it to a day short of their 70th, you're well on the way to break their record and I wish you nothing but the best for many years to come!

Thanks for all...and CQ, I don't think we'll make to 70, but we're sure as heck gonna try!

This couldn't be any better...just perfect lighting and composition. At least in my opinion.
