Spectacular, particularly that strip of gold-dappled water.

Beautiful! But, what are you doing up so early?

Jacob said...

@ B Squared - It was a serious mistake. But it turned out all right.

Perfect sunrise. I guess it was worth staying up all night partying so you could get the shot. It IS beautiful.

Jacob said...

@ Frank - I couldn't stay up partying all night anymore if you tied me to a light pole!

Fortunately, I woke by accident and got out of bed by accident, found a camera by accident, wondered what the hell I was doing, then wandered out to the lanai, saw this and by some miracle hit the shutter at the right time!

I should have called it "Accident Sunrise"!

i've had a stressed day and that totally chilled me out. As your shots usually do!

Jacob, yes, today's pic at my place is now an apt in the west village, but used to be a police station. That is the side window to the left of the main door..

Strange and beautiful sunrise...at least for me. Just so different.

I need to get my butt in gear and retire so I can take great coastal pictures like this.

Gorgeous picture! I would love this pix for my screensaver. May I? You and Lois Anne need to come up to the UP for some photo shoots. We have beautiful sunrise and sunset, but I can't capture the real beauties. I need to take some lessons from you and L.A. Thanks for sharing!

@ Nopham. Yes, of course. It's 300 resolution so should be OK...if it comes out fuzzy, let me know and I can send you an 8X10 version.

Would love to go the UP! Maybe one of these days!
