Shutting down...

It seems that I have bitten off more than I can chew. Thus, I'm shutting down this blog (and The Villages) for a time, maybe permanently. It's become too difficult to keep up with five photo blogs.

Cedar Key Daily Photo and The Villages Daily Photo will not be deleted, but there will be no new postings. Photos from Cedar Key and The Villages will be posted fairly frequently on Florida Fotos.

I want to thank all of you for your kind support and many kind comments.

Ocala Daily Photo, Florida Fotos and Paree will continue.

I'm sorry you are going to stop posting to them...but glad you are leaving them. Maybe one of these days I will have opportunity to go back through all you have shown.

Wow, I will especially miss the Cedar Keys pictures and my husband will miss talking about Nancy Lopez and the Villages. However, I can't figure out where you got the energy or the time to do such a fantastic job of showing off Florida to the rest of the world. I have a tough time these days even getting a photo for one blog or sadly, the time to visit all those wonderful blogs from around the world.

Oh, Jacob, I'm feeling a little bit heart-broken. I'm going to have to track down one of your other blogs and follow you there. This is one heck of a swan-song of an image for Cedar Keys. Bravo!

You're leaving us with an outstanding sunset photo. I made my comments on The Villages. I'm sure it took some soul-searching, but I'm sure this is going to be good for you. You put a lot into these blogs, and have made many people happy. I'll certainly be visiting the blogs that remain.

This photo says it all. An absolutely gorgeous sunset taken at lovely Cedar Key. A fine parting comment and excellent shot. We understand but it's hard. See you at Ocala, Paree and Fotos!

Keeping five daily photo blogs running must be a bit stressful. And it sure is a grand finale.

a burning sky so beautiful!

I've been having probs with all your sites, everytime i comment everything shuts down. I badly wanted to see your photos but I'm having such problems...since last week.

@ Avie - Every once in awhile I have a similar problem with certain sites. Never have been able to figure it out. You made a comment here, so maybe the problem has been resolved?

You've made a good decision for yourself and the right one. Far better than just giving up altogether and what saddens me is not when a blog is put to sleep but when the archives are totally deleted and you are not doing that so full kudos to you.

Wonderful sunset shot to end this blog with. I completely understand. I find it difficult to keep up with one blog and visit others. I don't know how anyone could possibly keep up with five blogs. Enjoy all your newly found free time:)

I was wondering how you keep up with so many blogs! An occasional post on this one will be nice, though.
