Hiding out in Micanopy

We had a 1957 Olds exactly like this (same color, etc.) except ours was a 4-door hardtop. Magnificent car. All that chrome!

Very nice. we had a '53 Olds convertible--turquoise with a black top. Big chrome grill---so neat. What happened to yours? MB

wow You are so elegant, this kind of car is très chic! :)
I think a car like this one is very expensive.
(I imagine now...the lights in this car seems eyes! LOL )
Have a nice weekend dear friends Jacob and Lois Anne!

@ MB - Ours blew a water hose traveling from Phoenix to Gila Bend in Arizona in 1960 ... it was 120 degrees in the desert.

It seems that left millions of bits of water hose throughout the system and it never ran right after that...so I finally sold it - after we moved to Chicago.

And you probably kept your 53 convertible?

Very chic car! Like from movies - you can't spot many of them on our streets.
Wish you lovely weekend Jacob and Lois Anne!

Wow! How does it feel to drive this?

@ Ciel - It was a wonderful car...big, nice ride, luxurious...hated to get rid of it!

They should have this locked in a garage!

Nice ride. Only in the south would a car like that 'live' in a carport.

Lowell said...

@ Lisa - I agree!
